APPLE fans can pre-order two of the latest iPhones from today, but before you do, check if you can knock up to £200 off the price with cashback.

Paying for the handset upfront and getting a Sim-only contract will always be the cheapest way to get your hands on the 5.8-inch iPhone XS or the larger 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max.

Apple’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are available to pre-order from today

But if you can’t afford to pay the handset cost of £999 to £1,449 – depending on the handset type and memory size – then you’ll have to take out a mobile phone contract.

Use our guide to find the best iPhone XS, XS Max and XR deals for you.

To help get you started, we’ve rounded up the cashback deals on offer for the new handsets from the two biggest cashback websites – Quidco and TopCashback.

Cashback websites pay you when you click through them and purchase something.

HOW TO CUT YOUR MOBILE BILL

FIRSTLY, decide if you’re happy with your current deal and whether you want a new deal or handset - or both.

If you’re outside the minimum term of your contract then you can leave penalty free – and you might be able to find a cheaper deal elsewhere.

Pay-as-you-go deals are better for people who don’t regularly use their phone, while monthly contracts usually work out cheaper for those who do.

The best way to find a new deal is by checking comparison websites, such as MoneySuperMarket and uSwitch.com, which compare tariffs and handset prices.

It’s also worth trying Billmonitor – it matches buyers to the best pay-monthly deal based on their previous bills.

It only works if you’re a customer of EE, O2, Three, Vodafone or Tesco Mobile and you’ll need to log in with your online account details.

If you’re happy with your provider then it might be worth using your research to haggle a better deal.

Your transaction is tracked, and once it has been approved by the retailer, the cashback is added to your cashback account.

You can then get the cash paid directly into your bank or PayPal account once you’ve earned more than around £5.

The sites are free to use but they have premium options costing £5 a year, which give users access to exclusive cashback rates and faster payments.

This is taken from your cashback earnings.

But you should never sign up to a contract just to earn cashback. Find the right deal for you and then check to see if you can get cashback on it.
