theroyalfamily The Duke of Cambridge has visited New Zealand this week on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen to honour the victims of the Christchurch mosques terrorist attack.
Whilst there His Royal Highness met victims of the attack, first responders and Muslim community leaders.
"The message from Christchurch and the message from Al Noor and Linwood mosques could not be more clear - this global ideology of hate will fail to divide us,” HRH said in a speech paying tribute to those affected by the attack and recognising the empathy and unity displayed by the people of New Zealand in the weeks that followed.
The Queen sent a message to the people of New Zealand when the attacks happened sending condolences and also paying tribute to the emergency services and volunteers.
