The Scotsman takes on Branchyk in his hometown of Glasgow on Saturday night in the World Boxing Super Series semi-final.The Belarusian is putting his IBF belt on the line for the first time at the SSE Hydro Arena. In order to improve his all-round ability before the biggest fight of his life, Branchyk enlisted the help of Hall-of-Fame coach Roach. The legendary cornerman has worked with Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan and Miguel Cotto, and is hoping that his influence will be there to see in Baranchyk’s approach this weekend.

But the ‘Tartan Tornado’ insists that having Roach in his corner will do nothing but hamper Branchyk.Speaking to Sky Sports on Tuesday, the Scotsman explained that a seven-week camp is not long enough to form a bond between fighter and trainer.“Seven weeks with Freddie Roach is not enough time - if anything it's a bit of a disadvantage," said Taylor."It's not enough time to link up with a new trainer and to get to know him, and for him to know your strengths and weaknesses.”

Branchyk is undefeated from 19 fights, and boasts an impressive record of 12 knockouts and seven points wins. But Taylor is nonplussed about the threats he will face on Saturday, and believes he has an answer for everything.“He's very dangerous. He comes forward, every punch has got intent behind it,” he continued."He's strong, fit and is in good shape. He's going to come and have a good go but I'm more than prepared for anything he brings to the table.

"I believe I've got an answer for everything that he does.“It's the moment I've dreamed for, becoming world champion.“This is by far the biggest night of my life. It's huge.”
