The Masked Singer: Hedgehog's identity exposed after huge clue - it’s not who you think
The Masked Singer has divided viewers since it first aired on television screens earlier this month. Nevertheless, the ITV singing contest has got fans thinking about who the identities are underneath the extravagant costumes. And there have been several clues dropped as to who Hedgehog could possibly be…
The Masked Singer unmasked Chameleon on Saturday night as Justin Hawkins, the lead singer of The Darkness, emerged from underneath. Also to perform that evening was Hedgehog and following his appearance, questions have been raised as to who the celebrity is. The first time he sang on the ITV show, the episode teased the following clues: he is a bit posh and mostly “active at night,” more introverted than you might expect and most happy on stage. They had a job where they “died at 8:30pm every night” and in episode three of The Masked Singer, it was revealed how he had a connection with stage shows such as Phantom of the Opera and Hairspray when a mask and hairspray was seen in the VT. As for what the truth and two lies were, one of the following is true: “He sometimes wears high heels onstage / He once worked at a major fast-food restaurant / His daughter is more famous than he is.” So far, fans have suggested the following celebrities to be under the mask: Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntrye, Rufus Hound and Jason Manford. But perhaps the most interesting names that have been floating about are Alfie Boe and Michael Ball. On Saturday night, Hedgehog performed Shine by Take That sending the famous judging panel into a frenzy with his pronunciation.

Taking to Twitter with their theories, one said: “#MaskedSinger hedgehog is Alfie Boe???“Michael Ball is to obvious, but Alfie Boe is a possibility. I think it maybe Rhydian Roberts, although not sure if he has been in a play or musical where his character died around the interval? @MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger #HedgeHog #MaskedSingerUK,” another added. A third commented: “#MaskedSinger hedgehog has to be Alfie Boe or Michael Ball!!!!? Has to be!!!!” “Wow, how easy is the hedgehog clue in #MaskedSinger its Micheal Ball,” one tweet read.
The only way viewers will find out who really is underneath the Hedgehog costume is either when he is sent home by the judges or is the winner of the series. As for some of the other characters, it seems Queen Bee’s identity has been exposed as Nicola Roberts after several clues were dropped. And Daisy’s performance left fans thinking whether Milkshake singer Kelis would take part in the show. The Masked Singer returns to ITV on Saturday night.
